After our first and successful „Fascial Fitness Training“ at the end of May, we are hosting another „Fascial Fitness Training“ from the 19th until the 26th of september 2016. „Liquid Mountains Surf & Activity Lodge and Guesthouse“ is very proud to welcome fascial fitness expert Beatrix Baumgartner again at the Algarve.
At the two-day intro course from the 22nd to the 23rd of september, you can learn how to train your fascia independently. Moreover you get to to know your instrument the „Blackroll“.
On the following two days, from the 24th until the 25th of september, the Fascial Fitness Trainer Course is taking place. From the 19th to the 21st of september we are taking a close look on the FDM (Fascial Distortion Model) Modul 1. This course addresses physios, meds, osteopaths and alternative practitioners. On the 26th of september we are offering a Flossing Course.
The course instructor Beatrix Baumgartner is working in the physiotherapeutic field for more than 20 years. She started her career in 1996 in Vienna’s Wilhelminenspital. Via osteopathy her journey took her to the treatment of the fascia. Various troubles within the musculoskeletal system are leading to myofascial dysfunctions. Beatrix Baumgartner was educated in Munich as Master Fascial Fitness Trainer. In 2014 she and her partner Karin Mügge founded their own Fascia Center in Vienna. With ambition and passion for the field of „fascia“, Baumgartner reguarly participates in congresses and summer schools in Germany, Italy and the US. Her therapeutical focus is the Fascial Distortion Model (FDM), the Fascial Manipulation (Stecco), the Fascial Fitness, Flossing and the Myofascial Taping.
